Board of Review
The time to appeal your 2011 assessed valuation is approaching. If
you would like to make an appeal to the Board in person, please call
(616)791-6862 to schedule an appointment. The dates and times that the
Board will be hearing these scheduled appointments are:
Monday, March 14, 2011 – 9:00am to 4:30pm
Tuesday, March 15, 2011 – 3:00pm to 9:00pm
Wednesday, March 16, 2011 – 9:00am to 4:30pm
Thursday, March 17, 2011 – 9:00am to 4:30pm
You can choose to appeal your assessed valuation in letter form if you
are not able to make an in-person appeal. We will accept letter appeals
until 5:00pm on Monday, March 21, 2011. Our mailing address is: City of

– Walker, MI 49534.
The spring 2011 Walker newsletter will be issued very soon (both
delivered in the mail and posted here on our website). In this
newsletter you will find an article from the Assessor’s office that
contains information on appealing your 2011 valuation and what kind of
information that can help you to support your opinion of value.
