Commissioner Dan Kent

Commissioner Dan Kent

Commissioner Kent was elected in 1999 and represents the 1st Ward. He as served the community via the following:

  • City of Walker Personnel Committee
  • City of Walker Building Committee
  • City of Walker International Relations Committee
  • Board Member with Kent County Credit Union
  • Member of St. Peter and Paul Parish and Chairperson of Christian Services

His goal is to continue to improve the aesthetic quality, infrastructure, and economy of the City of Walker. The City of Walker should be conducive to business opportunities, preserving investment value, and maintaining a safe and family friendly community.

He has been employed with the Kent County Road Commission for the past 37 years and is currently employed as a weighmaster.

He and wife, Carol have been married for 38 years. They have three adult children, four grandchildren, and a dog named Moose.
